We offer in home physiotherapy assessments and treatments in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Mission, Langley and Abbotsford (fuel surcharge may be added for Abbotsford of $10). On some occasions, we can provide visits to other municipalities but extra fees may apply. Our home physiotherapists can also provide assessments for the BC Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptions (BC RAHA).
Home physiotherapy is suitable for anyone who struggles attending a clinic, but patients with neurological conditions, poor mobility, post surgical rehabilitation and the elderly may find extra benefit.
There are advantages for home visits in that the therapist can assess you in your own environment and make more appropriate recommendations for equipment and adaptions as well as setting up exercises that can be performed in you own home.
Several conditions benefit from being assessed in the home. The therapists will work with you to set you up with a plan of care centred around your goals and needs. Home visits are currently provided by Megan who is an experienced neurological physiotherapist. If you are interested in a home visit, please either email us through the contact form on the website or call the clinic and leave us a voice mail, you cannot book these appointments online.
Once a physiotherapist has performed an assessment, we also have kinesiologists & Physiotherapy Assistants that can follow up with you. Kinesiologists are skilled in exercise. Kinesiology/Physiotherapy Assistant Sessions are cheaper than a Registered Physiotherapist session, but often cannot be billed to extended benefits.
